We went on aerial Tram to nearly the top of the mountain on the Pacific side. We were fortunate that it rains on the Pacific side starting in May for about 6 months, so we missed the rains. The guide said the Caribbean side of the Rainforest rains all year.
Bromeliads are growing everywhere on the trees. Transporting tropical plants is the third top industry in Costa Rica, placing behind tourism and coffee.
We wondered how the trams made it through the holding structures. They hang on two hooks on a very large cable.
Notice the walking bridge below. We also saw a few platforms for zip lining.
There were several beautiful waterfalls.
