Our Lady of Guadalupe Church

 Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Puerto Vallarta was beautiful but simple. These are especially for you Therese. 


This is a confessional. Apparently the people have few sins to confess or the whole town knows their confession!

It was interesting to see that the statues are wearing cloth rather than being painted on the statue.





The town still has banners for Christmas (or Navidad) adorning the streets.

 We had planned to visit Cartagena Columbia today, but the  wind interfered with our plans.  The weather conditions did allow for entry into the port. It was a disappointment, but understood. We already missed seeing Nicaragua earlier in the cruise due to possible political disturbance. I think they said the winds were up to 50mph. I’ve included a few pictures of the water movement.
